Pollution

A person who treats others as if they were simply ‘things’, physical objects, might be described as a psychopath. One of the major problems of the world today, and it is a real problem, is that many people tend to see themselves as somehow dominant over nature, as well as other people.  Kurt Vonnegut (1922 – 2007) writing about the Germany of the late 1920s: “It was becoming evident that the young democracy was about to be destroyed by psychopathic personalities. Although aware of how much suffering their actions will inflict, simply do not care.”
